MY YUMMIEST LONDON... : 
MAITRE CHOUX, THE CREME DE LA CREME...


Do you know éclairs? The marvelous cream puff pastry, an institution in France! Let me introduce you to the best you can find in London or even in Great Britain : Maitre Choux. First you have the chouquettes, the fluffy feathers-like choux, round as a cloud with a "je ne sais quoi" when you bite in them... A dream for any choux lovers... Then, you will find the "éclairs" or cream puff pastry. Difficult exercise here :  how can I describe an absolute exquisite delight ? Sometimes with pistachios or raspberries, coffee, salted caramel (OMG!!!), shall I continue.?
Maybe if you remember the film "when Harry met Sally", yes that's right, you exactly know what I mean😊. You will understand the exquisiteness of those éclairs. 
So be prepare if you wish to enjoy one in public, I have warned you ;)

As you know, I am a fan of fresh crab meat that I put nearly everywhere whenever I can! Now with the superb weather London offers us since a couple of weeks, the buffet in the garden are nearly every day! Because my association mango with crab was a match made in heaven, I have done it again but with a new ingredient : pistachio! It goes so perfectly well together, it is going to be the trio for this summer holidays without any doubt! ;)

After the success of my white sangria with quince (here), I have decided to glamorize my sangria with a pink version! I know how much my British friends adore the rosé wine especially in summer time and we can definitely say today that summer has finally arrived in London...;) So let's celebrate it with this marvelous beverage...

This dish is one of my favorite in the quick  and balanced repertoire. It is a journey to the South of France in itself... It is full of flavor, easy to do and absolutely everyone adores it... In fact, when I have friends over, who may be a little bit moody, I always proposed those pasta which seems to have a "therapeutic" side. My friends always felt better afterward, it is so yummy!!! If you are afraid by anchovies, do not hesitate to replace it by tuna instead...

Wine pairing : Vin de pays d'Oc (Rosé) from Languedoc-Roussillon.

I prepare papillotes nearly every day, with fish or with vegetables. It's easy, quick and healthy. In addition, you can put whatever you fancy, the choice is yours! I have done this Dover sole with lemon and basil because it was in my fridge, it is not more complicated than that! It was terribly yummy, your turn ?

Even before moving to London, I absolutely adored sweet and sour dishes. Mind you, it was not the same for everyone and when I cooked some, my guests usually left their plates half eaten :(. Nowadays, our palate definitely changed and when I proposed sweet and sour recipes, the plates is definitely empty for my great pleasure. The banana and coconut filet mignon is loved by all and I hope by you as well!
